What type of label should I use for food products?

Polypropylene is the ideal material for use with food products. Polypropylene is particularly durable and can withstand not only high traffic store aisles but even refrigeration as it is impervious to moisture! We would recommend polypropylene even on jar labels for products such as jams or honeys (even where it is not strictly necessary as the product is usually not being exposed to moisture) as it will be more resistant to wear and tear over time which may be more suitable given the long shelf life of these products or even if the label comes in contact with the jam or honey itself! We also print polypropylene labels using food safe inks. A more cost-effective option for food labels which will not be exposed to any moisture would be paper labels. You might want to consider a colour other than white so any wear and tear is less visible over time but white labels can also be a good option for aesthetic reasons relating to your brand – you will know best what suits your brand! Remember, there is always the option to add lamination to paper labels to make them more durable too!
