Label Printing

Material

Our stickers and labels on sheets are printed on either vinyl (white or clear) in a gloss or matt finish with or without lamination for outdoor applications or for packaging and promotional use where tough durable stickers are required to last for years, or they are printed on paper for indoor stickers or as an affordable labelling solution.

Shapes and Sizes

Stickers and labels on sheets can be cut to any shape or size required and are perfect for mixed designs which can be cut at no extra charge, and supplied on sheets of any standard size (i.e A5, A4, A3) or custom size as requested. The method for cutting stickers on sheets is called Kiss Cutting, whereby the sticker is cut to the die line, cutting the top layer only, and leaving behind the backing sheet (usually paper). This enables easy peel and transport of the stickers.

Quality

Our stickers and labels are printed in high resolution, for sharp text, crisp graphics, bright colours and photo realistic images which is very important for small text and product labels and barcodes. Our print technologies are kept up to date for the highest quality output, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency and our label materials are procured from only the top suppliers.

Durability

Our vinyl stickers on a sheet are one of our most durable, long lasting stickers. These stickers are printed with solvent or latex inks with a gloss or matt lamination available for added durability. These stickers can be used outdoors in the long term as they are fully UV and water resistant.

Artwork and file set up

Send your sticker file with your order, including cut lines and any mixed designs set up on a sheet if required, and we'll send back a printing proof as standard before the files are sent to production, to make sure you're happy with the layout before printing. If you don't have a cut line, our designers can help setting this up for you.

  • What resolution do you need for printing?
    Sticker printing resolution
To ensure high quality label printing resolution, images should be supplied in 300 dpi at 100% of the final output size. DPI stands for dots per inch. The higher dots per inch, the better the label print quality. Artwork printed at 300 dpi will present crisp images and sharp text and line art, while artwork printed at 72 dpi will present blurry, pixelated images and text.
  • What is an underpin on transparent labels?
    Transparent sticker underpin
Clear and transparent labels printed without an underpin will result in a translucent print. These labels are ideal for sticking onto white or light coloured surfaces, as this creates a suitable opaque background. They are not suitable for sticking to darker coloured surfaces without a white underpin print. They are also perfect for sticking onto clear surfaces, as long as as you are looking for a translucent result.
  • What file format should I send?
    Stickers
We highly recommend supplying your graphics in a vector format for optimal output. We accept PDF, EPS, SVG, AI, TIF, JPG & PNG, supplied in 300 dpi or higher as applicable.

When creating your artwork, please ensure that the colour space is set up as CMYK within the software application.

Artwork should also be supplied in the correct sticker size with a 3 mm bleed, and a 3 mm safety margin. The bleed is the area that will be trimmed off when cutting to size. Your artwork must extend to the edge of the bleed, this cannot be white space. Our guillotines need this safety area to account for variations in cutting accuracy, and to avoid white edges in your finished product. Text and pertinent graphics should be 3 mm inside the cut line on each side. This will ensure no text or graphics are trimmed off during finishing.
